Company History

Advanced Concepts Group was incorporated in June 2006, in the State of Virginia, and is a privately owned corporation. Since incorporating ACG has grown in number of employees and has pursued an internal research agenda in anticipation of competing for external sources of funding and government contracts. ACG was formed as a technology transfer firm operationalizing research done and patents awarded at the Center for Advanced Defense Studies.

The Center for Advanced Defense Studies is a nonprofit thinktank located in Washington, DC with a prestigious portfolio of academics and technology specialists who have contributed to the research and development projects completed at CADS. Research projects are primarily for customers in academia, government, and private industry related to interoperability, next generation command and control systems, information security, and other emerging technology of critical importance to the fundamental functioning of a broad array of organizations.
